Freedom 25, Stonewall Jackson 24
The Eagles get their second win of the season in a thriller over the Raiders. Joel Francis returns a fumble for a touchdown with 5:25 left in the game to secure the Eagles’ victory. Stonewall scores 21 points in the third quarter but the Eagles counter with 10 in the fourth to earn the victory.

Battlefield 27, C.D. Hylton 21
The Bobcats get two passing touchdowns from quarterback Bo Revell to sneak by the Bulldogs. Revell completes 14-of-25 passes for 236 yards and running back Adrian Ingram rushes for 162 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown run.

Woodbridge 31, Osbourn 3
The Vikings earn another blowout victory to improve to 4-0 on the year. Woodbridge running back De’Antwan Williams rushed for over 125 yards and scored twice and defensive back Demetrius Quarles scored on an interception return.
 
Osbourn Park 23, Gar-Field 7
Sophomore transfer Dominique Terrell scored two more times for the Yellow Jackets, including a 91-yard touchdown run, and rushed for over 150 yards in Osbourn Park’s impressive with over Gar-Field. Sophomore Gary Jackson also scored for the Yellow Jackets’ while OP’s defense added a fourth-quarter safety to cap the scoring.

Brooke Pointe 37, Forest Park 6
The Bruins lose their first game of the 2008 season with tough loss against Brooke Point. Quarterback Bruce Facundas completed 7-of-14 passes and threw an interception for a touchdown.

Potomac 27, North Stafford 14
The Panthers win their third straight after falling to Battlefield in the opening week. Potomac finally had some breathing room this week as their last two victories were one-possession games.
