1. Woodbridge Vikings
Record (3-0), Last Week (1)
Last Game: Woodbridge 48, Loudoun Valley 0
Next Game:
Sept. 19 at Osbourn Senior, 7:30 p.m.
The Vikings have outscored their opponents 101-9 over their first three games and running back De’Antwan Williams has 11 touchdowns. This just in folks, Woodbridge is good.

2. Battlefield Bobcats
Record (2-0), Last Week (2)
Last Game: Battlefield 35, Gar-Field 0
Next Game:
Sept. 19 against C.D. Hylton, 7:30 p.m.
The Bobcats didn’t accumulate any rust during their week off as they punished the Indians. Battlefield has yet to give up any points on defense and their offense has been clicking.

3. Forest Park Bruins
Record (2-0), Last Week (3)
Last Game: Forest Park 28, Stonewall Jackson 10
Next Game:
Sept. 19 at Brooke Point, 7:30 p.m.
The Bruins’ winless season of two years ago is a distant memory. Forest Park is only three wins away from matching their win total of last season.

4. Potomac Senior Panthers
Record (2-1), Last Week (5)
Last Game: Potomac 3, Osbourn Park 0
Next Game:
Sept. 19 at North Stafford, 7:30 p.m.
A win is a win and the Panthers will take their last-second three-point victory over Osbourn Park. The Panthers could be 3-1 by next week as they take on a 1-1 North Stafford squad on Friday.

5. C.D. Hylton Bulldogs
Record (1-1), Last Week (7)
Last Game: Lake Taylor 48, C.D. Hylton 7
Next Game:
Sept. 19 at Battlefield, 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs were knocked around by Lake Taylor last week, but need to bounce back quick as they travel to Battlefield on Friday.

6. Gar-Field Indians

Record (1-2), Last Week (4)

Last Game: Battlefield 35, Gar-Field 0
Next Game:
Sept. 19 at Osbourn Park, 7:30 p.m.
It has already been a up-and-down season for the Indians. After starting strong, they have suffered back-to-back losses. Head coach Tom Gryder’s squad has a chance to bounce back against a tough Osbourn Park team.

7. Osbourn Park Yellow Jackets

Record
(1-1), Last Week (6)
Last Game: Potomac 3, Osbourn Park 0
Next Game:
Sept. 19 against Gar-Field, 7:30 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets have plenty to be proud of after dropping a heart-breaker to the Panthers. Last year, Osbourn Park fell by 24 points to Potomac.

8. Osbourn Eagles
Record (1-1), Last Week (8)
Last Game: Osbourn 61, Culpeper 14
Next Game:
Sept. 19 against Woodbridge, 7:30 p.m.
The Eagles should feel good about their blowout win over Culpeper, but the Vikings’ come to town on Friday night and they are a tad bit better than the winless Blue Devils.

9. Stonewall Jackson Raiders
Record (0-2), Last Week (9)
Last Game: Forest Park 28, Stonewall Jackson 10
Next Game:
Sept. 19 against Freedom-Woodbridge, 7:00 p.m.
The Raiders played Forest Park close without their star running back. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — when Damien Thigpen is healthy, the Raiders are a dramatically better team.

10. Freedom Eagles
Record (1-1), Last Week (10)
Last Game: Brooke Point 49, Freedom-Woodbridge 20
Next Game: Sept. 19 at Stonewall Jackson, 7:00 p.m.
Freedom’s offense showed promise against Brooke Point, scoring 20 points for the fourth time since 2006.
